Houston will have a franchise in the new women's pro volleyball league. League One Volleyball announced today that Houston will be a member when it launches after the Paris Olympics in 2024. Atlanta was also announced as a franchise city. The league has signed Olympians Kelsey Robinson and Justin Wong-Orantes and just added Haleigh Washington. The league model will work with the Houston Skyline Volleyball Club, which has produced players like Madisen Skinner, who played a key role in Texas' 2022 NCAA championship.
